i stayed for several nights. the breakfast buffet had a good choice of gluten-free options. the staff had good knowledge of the local area. they were also helpful and polite.
the room lacked shampoo. shower gel was also missing. the wifi password was on the room key, but i easily missed it. i wasn't informed about it either.

I REALLY appreciated the location. It allowed VERY easy access to all the historical sites. The staff greeted me with such WARMTH. It was like visiting family. The breakfast offered MANY choices. The room was clean and well-appointed. I felt right at home. The view from my window was Lovely, and I could not stop taking pictures of the landscape.
The air conditioning was not COOL enough during the hottest part of the day.

The room was quite spacious. I found it very clean. It contained modern decor, and the bed was SO comfortable. The bathroom was well-equipped, with a rainfall showerhead. It was VERY relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel is conveniently situated near major attractions. It made exploring very simple. The funicular station is a SHORT walk away. I was able to travel to the upper city with ease. I appreciated the central placement.

i wasn't particularly thrilled that the bar was closed , a minor inconvenience (i needed a cocktail, stat!). also, i found it a bit cheeky that there was a charge for parking (yes, even for hotel guests!). it feels like that should be included already, especially since the parking area isn't exactly covered. i had to lug my stuff in the rain, talk about a mood dampener (pun intended).

the restaurant offered a good terrace for dining.
the air conditioning in my room barely functioned it was very disappointing. parking cost extra despite me being a hotel guest i thought it should have been included. finally the bar was closed which limited evening relaxation options
